The term “polyurethane paints“
(PU paints) identifies a wide range of coating products suitable for several purposes with the curing process performed by the chemical reaction of poly-addition between 2 reagents (part A, the polyol polymer containing the hydroxyl group, and part B containing the isocyanate group, improperly defined as “catalyst”) and in which the solvents also perform important roles.
Polyurethane coatings are characterized by outstanding chemical-physical resistances that allow the films extremely high hardness after their complete drying combined with excellent aesthetic results.

Finipur 610
Exceptionally reliable clear and pigmented polyurethane top finish, with excellent clarity (the colourless version) and soft touch, with mar resistance (mainly caused by fingernail scratches) and over-layering (this series is therefore also suitable to be overlayers in cycle with “patina”, also called shabby chic cycles).
Finipur is available in a very wide range of sheens (from 5 to 90 gloss).
Tests performed on surfaces painted with FINIPUR 610 report excellent chemical and mechanical resistance.
Finipur 698
Clear polyurethane top finishes with “superior” performance, such as high clarity and touch-feel, plus excellent mar resistance.
Tests performed on surfaces painted with FINIPUR 698 show high-ranking chemical and mechanical resistance, higher than the conventional opaque polyurethane paints.
DUROPUR 702
Innovative clear polyurethane top finishes with intense sheen and top mar resistance, directly from the laboratories of ASTRA VERNICI: every furniture will become elegantly and uniformly opaque, extremely resistant to scratches and polishing which is a fundamental requirement to last the beauty of any furniture over the time.
Tests performed on film of DUROPUR report super high chemical and mechanical resistance, much higher than traditional opaque polyurethane paints.
FINILUX
High gloss clear and pigmented polyurethane top finishes also suitable for buffing, if required.
